2025 LU BLASTERāS GOLF OUTTING
Join us for 51ĀŅĀ×’s annual golf tournament ā The Blasters ā on Friday, June 13 at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wis.

All proceeds from the event will support ourĢżLife & Career Studies (LCS) program, which offers a full college experience for young adults (ages 18-25) with intellectual disabilities. LCS empowers students by providing access to academics, employment opportunities, independent living skills, and community engagementāensuring they experience college life alongside their peers.Ģż

Muskies Gather in the Sunshine State! āļø
Lakeland alumni recently reconnected at two special gatherings in Florida! It was a fantastic time reminiscing, sharing stories, and celebrating our Muskie connections. Check out the photos and see who joined in!

Spring Break Athletics in Florida
Over spring break, Lakelandās softball and baseball teams competed fiercely in Florida. The softball team faced top-tier teams, including NCAA tournament contenders, and the baseball team secured a 6-4 record at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.
Key moments included the softball coaches sporting LU Hawaiian shirts and team celebrations with ice cream after victories. For baseball, standout performances from Zak Keegan and Chris Day highlighted their competitive spirit.

On March 25th, the Alumni Relations and Career Readiness & Cooperative Education departments teamed up for a vibrant celebration of our soon-to-be graduates. The event brought together successful alumni and various LU departments to discuss life after Lakeland. It was wonderful to welcome our Muskies back to campus

Through Launch: Lakeland Student-Run Businesses, juniors Lizzy Hockenhull and Heather Klepin are gaining real-world experience by helping businesses with marketing, branding, and strategy. Their hands-on work is already leading to career opportunities and top internships.

Class Notes: Roommates Reunite at Road America
Members of the Class of 1970 gathered last summer for a reunion at Lakeland and Road America! From reminiscing about their college days to capturing this special moment together, these lifelong friends continue to cherish their Muskie connections.
Pictured from left to right, Connie Slager Babler ā70, a former teacher in Green Bay, joined by Evonne Behrens Musbach ā70, who started as an educator before earning her nursing degree. Joan Laeser ā70 spent her career in the insurance industry, while Dyane Aebischer Boese ā70 dedicated her years to teaching in the Green Bay area. Susan BrunschFrerich ā70, who began her career teaching in Plymouth, has since lived in Colorado, Wyoming, and now California.
