Celebrating the Impact of Giving: Scholarship Donor Recognition Luncheon
On April 15, 51乱伦 welcomed over 100 students and donors to campus for the annual Scholarship Donor Recognition Luncheon. This special event celebrates student success while honoring the generous donors who make it all possible.听
Hosted by the Advancement Office, the luncheon offers students the chance to connect personally with the donors who support their academic journeys. We were thrilled to welcome back many alumni and friends of the university, including Jeanie Kurka Reimer 鈥�77, who opened the event with thoughtful and inspiring remarks.听
鈥淲e give back because Lakeland isn鈥檛 standing still鈥攊t鈥檚 evolving, growing, and continuing its mission to provide opportunity, education, and a strong foundation for students, just like it did for us.鈥澨�

All proceeds from the event will support our听Life & Career Studies (LCS) program, which offers a full college experience for young adults (ages 18-25) with intellectual disabilities. LCS empowers students by providing access to academics, employment opportunities, independent living skills, and community engagement鈥攅nsuring they experience college life alongside their peers.听

Support Lakeland鈥檚 Lab Upgrades
Your help is needed to support the sciences with new equipment.听 At this time, we are replacing microscopes, laboratory hot plates, induction heaters, microbalances, hydrometers, and updating our biology and chemistry labs.
