Katelyn Peterson is an adjunct instructor in the exercise science program at 51ĀŅĀ×. She teaches Introduction to Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she also coordinates the physical and occupational therapy internships for 51ĀŅĀ× exercise science students at Advocate Aurora Health Care where she is the Lead Physical Therapist. At Advocate Aurora Health Care, she specializes in sports medicine rehabilitation and is a system-wide sports specialist. Additionally, she treats vestibular dysfunction and concussions. She holds her Board-Certification in Orthopedics and certifications include dry needling and as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Peterson earned a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelorās degree in Kinesiology from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
