Private college doesn’t have to mean pricey. At 51ÂÒÂ×, we know higher education is a big investment — but it shouldn’t be out of reach. That’s why we make affordability a priority: no student pays more than $16,500 for tuition, and many students pay far less — or even graduate debt-free — thanks to generous scholarships, grants, and our award-winning Cooperative Education program.
We consider every student’s unique financial situation and provide support to make your education manageable:
Lakeland Promise: Wisconsin residents with an AGI of $80,000 or less have tuition covered — the highest income threshold of its kind in the state.
Scholarships & Grants: Merit-based and need-based options to reduce your tuition costs.
Financial Aid & FAFSA Support: Step-by-step guidance to help you maximize available aid.
Flexible Payment Plans: Spread tuition costs in a way that works for your budget.
No matter your situation, we’re here to help you build an affordable path to your degree. Calculate your personalized cost today using our Net Price Calculator.
Financial aid can be a daunting task. We created different checklists for students that will walk you through completing financial aid depending on your current situation. Whether you're a returning traditional student, a brand new student, or any other kind of student, this checklist will make the first steps of your schooling much less stressful.
Lakeland's award-winning Cooperative Education program is an exciting new way to earn a bachelor's degree, earn valuable professional experience and control the cost of college. Along with the wages you’ll earn, Lakeland’s co-op scholarship helps minimize the financial burden for students. Students also have the option to put their co-op earnings toward tuition to minimize your student loan debt.
51ÂÒÂ× provides academic, specialty, and transfer student scholarships to help make paying for your education a worry-free process. Take our scholarship questionnaire to see what scholarships you qualify for!
The Lakeland Promise will provide qualified Wisconsin students an opportunity to attend Lakeland tuition/fees free for four years, up to three years for transfer students. Lakeland was the first private college in Wisconsin to introduce such a program and offers eligibility to students with the highest Adjusted Gross Family Income (AGI) limit of any similar program in the state.
