Exercise Science students present research at national sports medicine event
Two 51ĀŅĀ× exercise science students ā Hunter Frisk and Madison Blankenship ā presented research at the American College of Sports Medicine Central States Chapter Annual Meeting, which was held March 3-4 in Fayetteville, Ark.
Frisk presented the study titled āSpatial, Temporal, and Kinetic Variables during the Early Acceleration Phase of Sprinting.ā Co-authors included fellow LU exercise science student Alicia Thone, LU Associate Professor of Exercise Science William Ebben, Ph.D., and Randall Jensen, Ph.D., from Northern Michigan University.
Blankenship presented the study titled, āSex-based Analysis of the Biomechanics of Pitching.ā Co-authors included Frisk, Ebben and 2020 Lakeland graduate Evan Martin.
